2024 Academy Awards Poll!

The Academy Award nominations have just been announced. For our never-very-popular annual Academy Awards poll, using the official nominations, you can vote in any category you like, if you have seen enough of the nominees. I'll post all the nominees in this thread soon.

The rules:

• if you have not seen at least half of the nominees in a category, you can't vote in that category, except in the Best Picture category
• for Best Picture, if you have seen 3 of the nominated films, you can post a top one, if you have seen 4-5 films, you can post a top two, if you have seen 6-7 films, you can post a top three, if you have seen 8-9, you can post a top four, and if you have seen all 10 you can post a top five. If you haven't seen 3, you cannot vote
• for the other categories, you can post a top pick if you have seen 3 films, a top two list if you have seen 4 films, or a top three if you have seen every nominee (i'm assuming five films are nominated in each other category, if that's not the case i'll edit this rule later)
• ballots must be ranked, and will be scored in the usual way (1-2-3-etc from the bottom up)
• for any category that garners two or more ballots, I'll tally the results and we'll award the SCFZ alternative Oscars accordingly

I don't think I'm gonna catch any more before the oscars.I usually make more of an effort but I was very uninterested in most of the films this year, and the ones I would have checked out (ex.Seed of the Sacred Fig) were all so long that I just couldn't squeeze them into my schedule once I decided to try to catch them. So my weak, relatively worthless ballot looks like this.

I'm going for this one because I genuinely thought that Adam Pearson played the lead but dubbed by Sebastian Stan until the real Adam Pearson showed up.
Also, I wasn't that impressed with The Substance makeup. The monster looks like a hard plastic toy. It never has the stretchiness or gooiness that is achieved in something like Society despite the comparisons.
