Bill Melendez :pirates:

not only updated the list but made it more colorful!
the more colorful list is not only extra cute but names are easier to search now.
i.e. decorative function & functional function both enhanced!

also added a few more names of the past polls.
now, only about 1/2 of names are missing.
as opposed to the previous 2/3 of missing names.
i.e. things going the right way!

it is possible that there are still listed views for some names already polled.
once i will add all the polled names (in due course of time) there will be no confusion.
also don't forget to mention your Tacita Dean views so i can spread the "help" flag!

just a reminder -- if you'd like to see us poll a specific director, just mention the director's name in this thread, and if the director has the views, we'll run the poll!

i'm in a bit of a rhythm with these polls right now, so i'll just be using a random number generator and jiri's list to pick our new polls for now... about to choose today's director now!

What's with Ron Howard?
We could poll him next. :)

I just noticed we haven't done John Milius yet! :o

He#S directed 9 feature films, one short and one TV episode, so a Top 10 is possible.
Unfortunately I've only seen 5 of his films so far, so can't help with him. :(

feel like i should nominate mani ratnam, i have 19 and i feel like he's been near or at the cusp of enough other people having seen enough to make a poll worthwhile, but still kind of under it.

hopefully with the more relaxed rules mani ratnam can work now

with mani ratnam i just worry we're going to get an uninteresting result if 3 people have seen 10+ and a few have seen 1 or 3. but i know that's an issue with a lot of the nominated directors.

Yah, do Ratnam, I don't think there's likely to much change on the views without polling him, so might as well do it now and at least I'll use it as an excuse to watch OK Kanmani, which is streaming on Mubi, and maybe something else if I can find the time.

i looked up when we last checked on ratnam, and it looks like nrh and therouxxx had 10+, and greg had 6, and no one else had many views. so if therouxxx will vote in the poll (post here if yes, please!) then once greg watches one more, a ratnam poll can go ahead, and of course if anyone else has seen 7+, that will make it even easier.
