After a while, Belson's cosmic imagery just doesn't do anything new for me - though ending on a literally down-to-earth note is a nice touch. The Bernard short, despite its brevity, managed to pack more genuine surprises, so it gets my vote.

where do we watch the bernard film?
thanks greennui, i searched vimeo for it once and didn't find it but success on a second try, preferred the bernard from the first round but liked this one well enough, the ending really makes it work, my thoughts about the belson are similar to mesnalty's
