at the world series of poker, if you 'bubble' the tournament - i.e. if you are the last person to be eliminated before they start paying out prizes - they give you a free entry to the next year's tournament. so maybe the top runner-up should be automatically entered into next year's dtc without needing a nomination. just an idea, up to angel of course
