we want to embed videos!

on icm you can just paste the video url to embed. can we do this?? sup with these ugly smilies. can we add emos??

All I'd like to see is a way to switch to a dark theme, the black letters on white hurts my eyes. I guess I spend too much time in the dark, but I suppose that isn't inappropriate for a movie site.

this could be helpful

some kind of side bar or other way of indicating unread threads (unless i'm not seeing how to do that) feels essential.

if you click there you'll see 'user control panel' where you can customize your profile and the board

yeah, you're gonna have to talk me through it more than that - which tab is it under? i can't see anything that says themes...

Board preferences > edit global settings > my board style

By the way, yall may have noticed that when a topic has new posts it shows a little red page to the left. If you click on that icon, it'll bring you directly to the first unread (by you) post in that topic

this will take some getting used to but i like the dark theme. 100% better than crapatalk

I've disabled the old forum, as it allowed me to post an announcement that shows up on every page.

As I understand it, that means that posts can't be edited anymore. If you need to get at the BBcode in one/some of your posts, let me know and I'll turn the board back on so you can snag it.

Okay, we can embed. Ignore the lightning bolt icon; it doesn't work.

Simply type the URL of the page with the video, and the video will automatically embed. If you DON'T want to embed a video, make sure you select "Do not automatically parse URLs" in the options below before submitting your post.

Kanafani is the man to ask about that. He is working on some code that will download the old forum in a format that can be uploaded into this forum... but I think the guy who was helping out (Whyte Nite?) went AWOL. So if you know code...
