I made a remark on the forum about Numbers on the Boards being in my t10 rap songs, and it got me thinking: what are your t10 favourite rap songs? Old or new, mainstream or underground, d-boy shit or conscious shit, whatever.

Nice to see Gucci Mane (!) and Mac Dre (!!) get some love on here. Narrowing down to top 10 was pretty difficult and required some oddly convoluted leaps of logic on my part (ex. I ultimately couldn't decide on one Three 6 Mafia track and ended up leaving them off here entirely 
and while there's certainly more prolific artists with more 'great' songs than Rich Boy, the production on Throw Some D has some secret direct dopamine pathway to my brain). One thing I noticed is how much 2000s Southern Hip-Hop there is, which unfortunately eclipses other parts of my taste (the Bay Area from the late 90s-mid 2010s and pretty much any East Coast artists) but I guess that just goes to show how deeply that period of music resonated with me.
