or y'all just don't like me...
I read your last post and I silently agreed with it. Let's change the banner!
Very cool, Zulawski, I especially like the first one.
I was messing around with my (very old) version of photoshop and tried changing the text in the first photo here into the second photo below. Unfortunately I'm an amateur with this stuff so this was the best I could manage but if someone likes the idea and wants to take a crack at it, have a go.
Hah, that's pretty cool! Reminds me of the 'What film is this still from? There are only wrong answers'-meme that had its run on Twitter a few weeks back.

Is anyone saving a copy of each banner as they change? Hope they're being archived and stored somewhere so we have a history of scfz to look back on one day.

I'm going to save them anyway, in case the pics get deleted at their linked urls.
Some other screengrab options, just for fun. Not good at the whole adding the SCFZ logo thing though, which is too bad since the last still already has one that's sooo close to ours.
The first one with the logo on the elevator is also nice.

Playtime is da shit, rischka! By far my favorite Tati. You'll surely have a ball!
But I guess it has an unfair advantage over the others, cause I've seen it numerous times, some of those at the cinema, and once even from a pretty good 70mm print.

so jells. i've seen it on 35 and that's it. i've had the privilege of 2001 and vertigo (and some other classics) on 70, but never playtime. that would be the creme de la creme of 70mm showings

Not so fast. I think we should start a poll about that.
+1

I've seen Playtime twice: First time I was still a teenager and watched it on a friend's small shitty computer screen in an overcrowded bedroom where half the people couldn't give a fuck. It felt like an extraterrestrial object and I was completely bowled over by its control of space and sound, though I do remember I was kind of drifting off during the long restaurant sequence. Second time was years later when I was visiting NYC, and MOMA was screening it on 70mm. I was bowled over again, and the restaurant scene was my favorite part of the movie. If I were to choose a single one and only favorite movie of all time, this would be it.

having seen this scene i would vote for this one after some ps magic. great scene also the american ladies shopping everywhere reminded me of my mom
she told me a man on a tour once made up a song about her fondness for shopping after she complained there wasn't enough of it
