decent Noirvember totals for me. i didn't love anything i discovered, but i revisited four old favourites and they did not disappoint. also, They Live by Night is officially my favourite movie. how did I take three watches to figure that out? I guess I was a bit of a young boy the last time I saw it (Noirvember 2014)....ah, youth. now I have lived, and I understand the sadness of a lonely and directionless gaze
