Satansbraten is fantastic! Maybe my favorite Fassbinder.

at the height of summer - feliks falk

mildly enjoyable polish film about a couple holidaying at a cottage deep in the lovely peaceful woods. so obviously it's going to go wrong. especially when your husband is a gaslighting asshole.

Don't know how many I'll manage to watch in the last few days but will try. When did News from Home become a 1976 film?

Tier 1
Network (Sidney Lumet)
Jonas qui aura 25 ans en l'an 2000 / Jonah Who Will Be 25 in the Year 2000 (Alain Tanner)
Taxi Driver (Martin Scorsese)
The Opening of Misty Beethoven (Radley Metzger)

Tier 2
Logan's Run (Michael Anderson)
Alice in Wonderland: An X-Rated Musical Fantasy (Bud Townsend)
The Outlaw Josey Wales (Clint Eastwood)
Chinesisches Roulette / Chinese Roulette (Rainer Werner Fassbinder)

Tier 3
Keoma (Enzo G. Castellari)
News from Home (Chantal Akerman)
All the President's Men (Alan J. Pakula)
Obsession (Brian De Palma)

HMs (don't feel like I've seen enough to do a full 20 so settled on 12 for now but might add a couple):
Murder By Death (Robert Moore)
Une vraie jeune fille / A Real Young Girl (Catherine Breillat)
Rocky (John G. Avildsen)
Salon Kitty (Tinto Brass)
Freaky Friday (Gary Nelson)
Carrie (Brian De Palma)

Have and will try to watch:
Kings of the Road
Satan's Brew
The Marquise of O

Also wanna watch:
Assault on Precinct 13
The Killing of a Chinese Bookie
The Tenant
Duelle
Cria Cuervos
Ugly, Dirty & Bad
The Man Who Fell to Earth
Mikey and Nicky

Yeah, completely fair request. I'm several polls behind actually, going back to '37 in December. I've been working 60 hours weeks, but the semester ends in a week, so I'll try to bang out all the polls then in evenings while listening to old-time radio shows.
