Hey, Brian, and anybody else -- it looks as though La Mystere Des Roches De Kador lifted that idea about cinema as a tool to cure mental illness from an earlier movie called Amour Et Science (director unknown) A&S premiered in USA in September (possibly earlier in France), and Kador in France in December. The resemblance is pretty exact, but Kador is a much better movie.

I'm disappointed I couldn't keep up with the poll as I have a hard time watching silent movies in the summer when it's too busy at work to run them and, for reasons that aren't clear to me, I just can't get into them at home when the weather is warm. Nonetheless I greatly enjoyed reading the critiques of the movies that people wrote, particularly you and Lencho who really went whole hog on the project. So while I won't have a list, I still found the poll quite pleasing to ride along with.

Vote early, vote often... but get it all done in the next 90 minutes because that's when I'm going to tabulate results.

OMG - maybe, just maybe, EYE Film Museum noticed a spike in Bandits en Automobile views thanks to our polling endeavour. They just uploaded three new Jassets to their YouTube channel, albeit with Dutch subs, and hopefully there's more to come
