gregx, you get to choose the next showdown!
while it wouldn't have altered the final results, i really should give jimmy's harvey a 4, instead of a 3. after all, it is the film that made me realize how fun alcoholism could be
Wow, that's a lot of work you put in kanafani. Thanks! Sorry about adding all the extra effort added from my ratings.
Do you want to do another actor comp or go back to directors?

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering about that Tycoon rating, I wouldn't actually recommend it since most people don't like it at all and my interest in it is as much a meta-fascination as anything else. It's made by a director, Richard Wallace, that I think is unusual, it has a bit of an odd Wayne role where he's both hero and villain in turns, and it's kinda excessive in an interesting way, artistically and politically. The few other people who've seen it that I've found don't like it much at all.
But Film: 76379 is definitely worth a view. Totally underrated. Heh.

It’s really up to you!
All right then with actors there's no excuse for leaving women out, so let's start with similar battle for them. Bette Davis and Barbara Stanwyck should have enough movies viewed to be interesting.
(By convention, it should be Crawford vs Davis and maybe something like Rogers vs Stanwyck, but I don't know if Crawford and Rogers would have adequate viewings of a lot of their movies.)
