looking at the views on letterboxd for kuchar films, i think there's maybe some chance a kuchar poll will work, but i think it might take a couple of days before we get enough replies on them. so in order to keep the polls moving, this is what i'll do:

- i'll pick a director for our next poll, starting today
- i'll ask in that poll about kuchar views, and we'll do a kuchars poll if they work
- if kuchar doesn't work, nrh will have first choice for our next director
- we'll start nominations from a clean slate after that
