in genre terms, it's also a bit western (or eastern) with already a well-known (in this particular CoMo thread) "tatko" character (the aging man who fornicates with his daughter-in-law)
but "tatko" is not to be blamed, blame "the unworthy woman" for "the birth of the anti-christ"
birth of the anti-christ is not accompanied by the earthquake (viz the other recurrent theme of this thread) but by an avalanche

(notice in the valley a settlement with about 300 bigots & sinners)
(there was only a sole survivor of the cataclysm who is taking a viewer through the whole non-linear narrative)

btw., from the stills above one can (wrongly) infer it's a (purely) black-and-white film — occasionally (if there is a hellish fire or dripping blood) it's partially colored
last but not least (to end on a positive note), lately one can notice in the other threads complains about this site being (somewhat) abandoned & deserted.
HOWEVER, we should remember Matthew 18:19-20 and firmly believe this forum is not yet doomed to non-existence because at least two or three are always hanging around!!
