Unfortunately only 7 Kobayashis, but 11 Reeds.
Oops, missed a Kobayashi, I Will Buy You, I have 8, that is if you include the four Human Condition movies as separate entries, otherwise just five.

there are only 3 Human Condition movies, I believe.

Oh, yes, you're right, Letterboxd has them both as one whole movie and as three separate ones. Only seen seven after all.

assuming john has 10+ from both kobayashi and reed, then we will need either one more person with 10+ kobayashi, or two more with 8+, to run that poll. i'll give it another 24 hours, and if it doesn't work, carol reed will be our poll.
wonder about counting Human Condition trilogy as 1 or 3. Seen 9 Kobayashis if count Human Condition trilogy as 1
Deffo three. A closely linked trilogy, but released at different times
so... only 9 films got a vote in the poll. i always post top tens to letterboxd, so i'd like to get a #10 film on the list -- if anyone has seen at least two murnau films (including fragments, shorts, etc) that did not make our top nine, if you could vote below for your favourite of those films, then i'll put the winner of that extra vote in the #10 slot.

I've seen Phantom, which I disliked. Don't know if that helps.

i vote for the haunted castle (schloß vogelöd).
"Most esteemed biographer of Peter Barrington Hutton"
I'd also throw a vote to Haunted Castle if it would help, meaning I second Brian's choice.
One for Phantom and planning to watch the restoration of Journey into the Night very soon.
