Testing to see if I'm able to create a new topic...
Anyway, I reckon the felines deserve their own thread.

Perhaps the only video on letterboxd directed by a cat, not sure why Morrison is hogging the director credit.

I'm a 4-year-old female rescue and I like to climb stuff.
(Was less than 2 months old when I grabbed her underneath a car where she hid for days, and took home. She murdered lots of mice since that summer of 2019)

More cats to come!
Is it possible in the US to buy the orange jumpsuit, state-penitentiary style? Or you must get somebody to sew it for you?
Can't wait for the first costume party in my vicinity to put it on.
Stop being ignorant and go look up the video about Mr Wilson Kenney, rischka. It's a comedy hour.
i don't want to. i have an ear infection

I'm planning to write a collection of short stories based on my own and my acquaintances' experiences, which is likely to be released in 2024.
I never liked, never understood fascination with 'big' subjects and events. Life is to be understood from the basement upwards, not the other way round. And what better source for that could be than the lowlifes of all kinds.
Even if you're blessed to live happily, the majority of your concerns and talks with others consists of problems to be solved. It is criminals and greed who make the news, not the meek, humble and timid.
Or you could just not pay any attention but then you'll live a non-eventful life.
this thread is for cats
just because there's the internet does not mean i need to know about every creepy sick freak on the planet THX
my life is plenty eventful
update: she used the litter box!!!

Just about the same age of four is this boy whose fur color reminds of a white coffee. I've found him hiding between the stack of palettes at the back side of a supermarket (where the delivery takes place) with his face being all dirty, in a nearby town. The employee literally told me that "the dogs are gonna take care of him, don't touch this dirty thing"
So I just put him on my lap, did the delivery around and took him home before I returned the vehicle. He's now 4 and got feral to some extent, but keeps coming back for food regularly.
The comment above gives you a picture how humans see these vulnerable creatures and why there are so many not taken care of, roaming everywhere and facing dangers.
it's a cat cactus. she looked at it, then went back outside. i guess she'll always be a wild cat

Any cat that's lived outdoors would know those things aren't for scratching on.
The opposite of 'reify' is... ?
excellent point
but it was so cute...
I guess it's a soft sculpture now

I shall call it le cactus
lol she disappears the entire day then shows up to eat and sleep. as soon as she sees her feral pals she takes off. she might be a tanuki

Svetlana was about 3 months old when I found her ran over, lying at the roadside while waiting for the next car to finish her off - but luckily I drove by, pulled over and picked her up. Luckily nothing was broken but no less than two weeks later she caught panleukopenia, fought and WON! Now she's about 2.5/3 years old, and I'd say friendliest of all cats I've ever had.
Joshua was thrown in my backyard (by a female neighbor who I suspect having an excess of kittens herself) around January 2017 as a mere one-month old kitten. He immediately jumped at the glass door, begun to consistently scream/yell at us to get him noticed. While becoming just one of the cats, he unfortunately turned into a rather grumpy, solitary and not much friendly tomcat who minds his own business.
puff is getting bigger. she's going to the vet soon. how many cats have you got mario

Currently 5 that I could consider 'mine'. Plenty ran over to my neighbors who offered better food. Three are 'joint' cats fed by me/them.
she wants everyone to know that her surgery went well and her fur is even starting to grow back. i kept her inside for a week. she is about 6 mos now, 7.5 lbs! she can get on kitchen chairs and is trying to access cat treats on her own so if she doesn't run around she's gonna be even more puffy i hope she'll live a long time omg her pic from sept she's so tiny !

Marina (right on the front) and Andjela (in the back, on the left).
Two unrelated calicos I saved less than a month ago, in the span of a week. These fake sisters had fortune to be rescued, as I found them at the busy crossroad (Marina) and in the area where some dogs already mauled kittens (Angel). Both are friendly, especially Marina who is also somewhat younger judging by her weight. Both are vaccinated, and flea/tick-free.
Couldn't make a proper photo, it's blurred coz they're constantly moving towards me.
