well he didn’t make many bad films, and the ones that i’d put in that category (not on the mouth, i want to go home) didn’t pick up votes, so it’s not too bad. we’ve done worse, i’d say. and i never realized how few he put out in the 70s which is probably his strongest decade.

Damn it, missed this one, I would have helped Je t'aime je t'aime and Providence, but otherwise same order. Just for the record, seen 13, and my top 5 are:

1. Last Year at Marienbad (1961)
2. Je t'aime, je t'aime (1968)
3. Hiroshima mon amour (1959)
4. Providence (1977)
5. Mon oncle d'Amérique (1980)

I actually watched Year 01 today, a film most ignore, but it is mostly Doillon's film, so makes sense it did not get any votes, incredibly creative and fun all the same however.
