It's hard to forget that kind of imagery! Especially the fog and light effects.

I'll admit, the film is one of the reasons why I chose to rep '83 in the Year Cup. :icon_mrgreen:

and yet... you are correct. it is bunuel's robinson crusoe. i remember i was pleased to note the surrealist touch of using two totally dissimilar cats in different scenes. foreshadowing that obscure object of desire
