yeah we checked already and dickson works, so if you want to nominate dickson that's perfect. if you'd prefer to pass the baton, that's cool too!

Sure, let's do Dickson! Not the most exciting of filmmakers in early cinema, but immensely important to the invention of cinema for being the director of the Black Maria output and later the founder of American Mutoscope and Biograph.

You should watch The Brilliant Biograph. Def an exciting filmmaker!
