since oscar was eligible to vote for six films, and highly recommended one he hadn't actually listed in his five-film ballot, i'm going to count that as if it were a 6th place vote. i wouldn't normally do that, but we only have votes for eight films otherwise, so that gives us a top nine. we still need a #10 film. my preference is just to wait to see if any new ballots come in. failing that, everyone is welcome to post below a costa-gavras film they did not vote for, but which they think is good enough to deserve a 10th place slot on the final list. i'll give each vote like that 0.01 points.

which i really don't think is very good, but it's better than the other costa-gavras i've seen and didn't vote for (Mad City, Betrayed, La Petite Apocalypse)
