I looked at soime clips with reunion footage and interviews and stuff, and the singer looked familiar somehow, but I figured it was just one of those 'thousands of faces look like that" things... then last night I found out that he lived much of his adult life in DC. It's driving m nuts wondering if our paths might have crossed at some point. He could have been one of the guys that got together in a semi-private room at El Dorado to play dominoes and bag on Fidel when i waited tables there... or...

I went down a rabbit-hole with Flor Silvestre and I ended up at the song below. Me mum, a hundred years ago (loose paraphrase): "Is that Cuco Sanchez giving 1120%, or have you found somebody even better than him?"

Only recognise a few of those - The Caretaker, Kate Bush, Christoph De Babalon, obviously, what are the middle two on the top and the left and the right on the bottom?

i'm listening to slide by the goo goo dolls now, that's good, this song always makes me feel better

that drop at like 2:20? jesus christ. "do you wanna get married, or run away..."

i suppose the #1 thing i don't understand about someone like trump, or any of these clown goonies, is that their priorities are really fucked. marrying a bunch of successively younger women...? becoming president...? why....? personally my #1 priority is finding a love so strong that literally nothing else matters. "do you wanna get married, or run away...."

my #2 priority is finally finishing bojack horseman

My very first concert way back in early 2000. Just recently found out that they started as a punk band.

You probably already know this, but I only found out a couple years ago that the Perfect music video is actually a sequel to the 1979 music video. Somehow never realized this as a child despite the Pumpkins being my favourite band at about age 10

Also it's interesting you made the connection between the goo goo dolls and pumpkins. Dizzy Up the Girl, and Adore, were actually the first two CDs I owned. I'd had a few tapes before that, but the Sony Discman (with g-shock protection! Whatever the hell that is) I got for my 11th birthday was a real gamechanger
