that's pretty impressive!
2004 was rather underseen year for me so I really committed to explore it more thoroughly.

Discovered some good shorts: Icelandic film The Last Farm made my final list, but there is also Two Cars, One Night (Taika Waititi) from New Zealand, Carlo (Michaël R. Roskam) from Belgium and Australian short Everything Goes (Andrew Kotatko). Kleber Mendonça Filho's Green Vinyl was an interesting experiment, although I'm not entirely sure if it works in the end.

This primary thing
and
that ancillary thing
have both been supplanted by
a new thing
and
The poll is closed.

I'm not promising I can finish tallying the votes tonight; they may not be available until 6 PM or so tomorrow (on me-and-Rischka time).
