could we maybe extend the deadline for this round by a week or so? i really wanted to participate in every match, but with everything going on in the world right now, i haven't been in the mood to watch anything besides comedy. but with more time i'm sure i'd watch everything

Sure. Unless extended further, I'll tabulate results on April 8 at noon PDT.

go fyodor! i'm definitely surprised by the result, with so many great directors in this - i bet if people were listing their favourite directors from the cup, khitruk wouldn't top many lists, but there also might not be much consensus, which is why khitruk can win. i think this is the first time i've ever even won a match in a director cup (the other directors i've repped, nina shorina and robert florey, didn't fare too well).

thanks for organizing everything bure! i discovered several great directors through this (and i'm sad to see bernard at the bottom of the table, since he was one of the best for me, along with sastry and gilic) so i really enjoyed it.

I didn't engage as much as I'd've liked to, but discovering Gilic's Power alone made this a more than worthwhile experience for myself too. Liked a lot of the other stuff I saw too, including Sastry's
