'Boxcar’ Bertha Thompson, a transient woman in Arkansas during the violence-filled Depression of the early ‘30s, meets up with rabble-rousing union man ’Big’ Bill Shelly and the two team up to fight the corrupt railroad establishment. Based on “Sister of the Road,” the 1937 pseudo-autobiography of fictional character Bertha Thompson, written by anarchist physician Dr. Ben L. Reitman.
k i have to watch this now. Edit: think its really bad but it might be David Carradine creeping me out. Edit edit: no. It's really bad

the most breathtaking/miraculous story of 1972 was not yet told in this thread!

while aimlessly browsing the films that i watched in the past, coincidentally, i stumbled upon a film called WHERE DID THE STEWARDESS FALL FROM? (Adéla Babanová, 2014) → https://www.kinometer.com/?id=211393&menu=film

it (in a purposefully twisted way — as Adéla Babanová usually does related to the weird/odd stories of the Czechoslovak past — this is her charming oeuvre → https://www.kinometer.com/?director=225 ... ear-latest ) retold the incident of January 26th 1972 when a lady fell on earth (on Czechoslovakia specifically) from heaven (from about 33330 ft/10160 meters)!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesna_Vulovi%C4%87
Vesna Vulović (Serbian Cyrillic: Весна Вуловић, pronounced [ʋêsna ʋûːloʋitɕ]; 3 January 1950 – 23 December 2016) was a Serbian flight attendant who holds the Guinness world record for surviving the highest fall without a parachute: 10,160 m (33,330 ft; 6.31 mi).
https://youtu.be/e6gvaqL-SOg
An Air Stewardess Fell 33,000 Feet And Lived To Tell The Tale 50 Years Ago Today
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/4 ... -ago-today
Vesna Vulovic, stewardess who survived 33,000ft fall, dies

How A Stewardess Survived a 10,000-Metre Fall
https://historyofyesterday.com/how-a-st ... 4c96bbffdd
etc., etc., etc.

i must admit that a detail that i least understand about this whole story is why recovering Vesna was posing in a Prague hospital with the puppet of Schweik?!? truly weird/odd (beyond the grasp)!!!

seduction 1972 style...
Two little doggies wanted to cross the little river.
They didn't know how so.
They made a little footbridge.
But it was bad.
So two little doggies had a bath!
Si-bom, si-bom, la-la, la-la-la-la.
Si-bom, si-bom, la-la, la-la-la-la.

Two little doggies went to a shop.
They didn't know they don't like pate.
And the shopkeeper gave them two pates!
Si-bom, si-bom, la-la, la-la-la-la.
Si-bom, si-bom, la-la, la-la-la-la.

Two little doggies went to a meadow.
And found there a red ladybird.
And she has a lot of black dots!
Si-bom, si-bom, la-la, la-la-la-la.
Si-bom, si-bom, la-la, la-la-la-la.
