I got a lot of pictures to post from my travels, but I've still got 2 more trips to go on this year so I'll bulk post them around Christmas :)

dunno if i've posted this guy before, but i love him. you get to see bits of tokyo in ways that a tourist would never ever see unless they'd gone wrong and were upset about it. japanese industrial estates, japanese suburbs, japanese scrubby undefined areas, japanese city transit spaces.....

Today had a pleasure to visit the new, albeit small Jonas Mekas exhibition titled "Mekas Winks Better" at The MO - Modern Art Museum. It features his photographs of encounters with other pop culture artists of the time: Yoko Ono, John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Jackie Kennedy, George Maciunas, Salvador Dali, etc. Mekas also caught Elvis' last performance in New York, 1972.

Here's Miles Davis playing basketball:

also wanted to document these baby cacti, i've surrounded them with rocks so as not to get stepped on

just checking the old camera still works, i've been neglecting it since finally breaking down and buying a smartphone

Here are some pictures I took when I went to Nice/Monaco last week. I do have them all in much higher quality, but tumblr was the only site I could find that would host them :|

I flew over El Popo, too, many years ago and I just happened to look out the window at the right time to see it by coincidence. But I didn't have a camera.

Loved Mexico. I stayed a few days in each of the towns of Oaxaca, Merida, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta.

Anyhow, thanks for the awesome pics everyone! Those birds, wow!

Crazy gorgeous photo! It reminds me of Chichen Itza, which I visited when I was in Merida, but I know that's not it.

I think it's Palenque. Of all the Mayan cities I've seen I like Palenque for its setting, Uxmal for architecture, Chichen Itza for its iconic majesty, Tikal for its size, and Copan for its pleasantness.
